The Recreation Commission is always open to any new ideas that the Community may have that involve the residents of the town. Volunteers are welcome!

Checks can be made payable to: Town of Shirley Recreation. Cash is also acceptable.

• U10-U18 Soccer - Our U10-U18 soccer players, coaches and board members are members of the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League. We are also members of the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association located in Lancaster, MA.

Adult and Senior Yoga Information

Shirley Recreation is currently offering an adult yoga program as well as a yoga class for seniors. All classes are held in the meeting room at the Hazen Library on Wednesday nights. All abilities are welcome.

The Yoga session registrations are currently available for the following classes:

• The Adult Yoga class meets for eight weeks on Wednesdays from 6:45-8:00pm. The 8-week program cost for Shirley residents is $60 and $65 for non-residents.
• The Senior Yoga class meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-6:30pm. The cost for Shirley residents is $25 and $30 for non-residents.

Participants should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and bring a beach towel and yoga mat to class.

Adult Basketball Program

Adult basketball is for adults 30 years and over, starting on Thursday, February 28th, 2008 running through March at the Shirley Middle School Gym
