The Technology Department collects used printer ink and toner. For each large trash bag we send to the recycling center, we receive a check which is used to offset some of the cost of ink and toner replacement cartridges that we order throughout the year. Do you know what your company does with their used toner and ink?
We use GREEN SCHOOL PROJECT to send a lot of our ink cartridges to, please feel free to check out their website.
We also collect used cell phones. The phones don't need to be working and we don't need any cords or chargers. We receive a check for any cell phones we send in to be recycled. Again, this money is used to offset the cost of ink and toner.
