Assistant Town Accountant
The Town of Shirley is seeking a qualified individual for the full-time union benefitted position of Assistant Town Accountant. This position involves considerable interaction with department heads and staff. Responsibilities include preparing vendor and payroll warrants in compliance with MGL and routine administration of the office in the absence of Town Accountant. Starting salary for this position will be $35,339.00. Minimum qualifications include: three years accounting experience; municipal accounting desired; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
