Voter Registration Deadline & Request Absentee Ballots for September 4, 2018 Election

The State Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at the Shirley Town Offices from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. The deadline to register to vote or change your party is Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Absentee Ballots will be available and must be requested in writing.  Absentee Ballot Applications are accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018. Information about the offices and candidates on the ballot will be available on the town website www.shirley-ma.gov and various public buildings in the next couple of weeks when received from the State Elections Division.

The Shirley Town Clerk’s Office will be open on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm for voter registration.  Registration forms can be completed at any Town or City Clerk’s office in Massachusetts. Mail-in forms are also available on the town website www.shirley-ma.gov and the Hazen Memorial Library, and should be mailed to Shirley Town Clerk’s Office, 7 Keady Way, Shirley, MA 01464 and must be received by election day.
